Mayor Bloomberg Pats Himself on the Back on His Way Out

As he should, to be honest.

With his time in office drawing to a rapid close, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is seizing his final moments to take credit for things that happened during his reign atop New York City. It's the ultimate Bloomberg move, and to be quite honest, he might as well go out bragging. If this is his Hall of Fame induction speech, why not go out like another notable Michael?

Yesterday, his administration sent out an email hilariously titled "T-Minus 5," where Deputy Mayor of Governmental Affairs Howard Wolfson sang about the administration's achievements, like the historically low crime rate:

The only way to ride off into the sunset is to obviously remind everyone what you did as you make your ceremonious exit. Cement that legacy.
