According to a report from PEGI, the European age rating board, it looks like the free-to-play PlayStation 4 launch title Warframe may be headed to an Xbox One near you.

Warframe is currently free-to-play on PC and PS4 to mixed reviews. Developer Digital Extremes said earlier this year in an interview with OXM that it would “love” to release on Xbox One but at the time Microsoft was not supporting developer releases without a publisher. That has since chanced with the Xbox indie-leaning program ID@Xbox which allows developers to release games directly to Xbox without a middleman.

"We're happy to see Microsoft shift its attitude on independent development for their new system," said Meridith Braun, VP of Digital Extremes to OXM earlier this year. "We'd be silly not to consider Warframe for Xbox One now. The system itself will be awesome and now the landscape of games that it supports has just become limitless. Exciting times."
