Legendary cheesecake maker Junior's Most Fabolous Cheesecakes and Desset's is reportedly selling its flagship location in Brooklyn.

PIX 11 reports that the restaurant, which first opened at Flatbush and Dekalb in 1950, will be sold to pave the way for brand new condos.

The good news is that this may not be the absolute end of Junior's at the famed corner of Flatbush Avenue Extension and Dekalb Avenue: the Rosen family hopes to open a new location on the one of the floors of the development, as well as another one in Brooklyn.

Though the specifics of the deal (i.e., the money) have not been revealed, PIX 11 adds that Brooklyn's evolving real estate market fostered a deal too sweet for the Rosens to turn down.

Though it's disappointing that Junior's will no longer exist in its current capacity, at least it's comforting to know that it isn't going away forever.
