With production starting to ramp up on Fox's reboot of The Fantastic Four, the studio is finally getting around to casting the movie, which will be directed by Josh Trank. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio is bringing both Emmy Rossum and Kate Mara in to screen test for the role of Sue Storm, a.k.a. The Invisible Girl. The site is also backing up previous claims that Miles Teller has tested for the Mister Fantastic part.

So far, the only actor attached to the film is Michael B. Jordan, who will play Johnny Storm. Jordan and Trank both worked together on Chronicle. The site is also saying that Christian Cook is being eyed for the role of Ben Grimm; however, Collider is speculating that it’s actually Christian Cooke, not Cook, who is up for the part. This makes sense, because the actor Christian Cook has a few short film credits; meanwhile Cooke has many credits to his name, including Carlo Carlei’s recent adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

The really interesting part of The Hollywood Reporter’s article comes when the site suggests that Fox might be looking to change the gender of the Fantastic Four’s main villain, Dr. Doom, for the film. The studio is looking for a big name to fill the role, but apparently it doesn’t matter if that high-profile star is a man or a woman.

The Fantastic Four will hit theaters on June 19, 2015.
