Rob Ford respects the legends. Nearly two months after he was caught moving awkwardly to a live rendition of Bob Marley's "One Love," the Toronto mayor has declared Feb. 6—Marley's birthday—"Bob Marley Day" in the city.

Ford explained his motivation in a statement:

Whereas each year on February 6, we honour the legacy of Robert (Bob) Nesta Marley, an influential musician, advocate for human rights and international ambassador of peace.

Remarkably, Ford has continued to amass respect while getting simultaneously caught up in illicit activity. If he emerges unscathed, he's the new Teflon Don. In the interim, remember the legacy of the great Bob Marley. Also, even though the image above is clearly fake, that doesn't make it any less brilliant or hilarious.
