Yesterday, Seth Rogen spoke in front of the Senate to provide his support for Alzheimer's research, and told his personal story about seeing the destruction the disease can cause, by way of someone very dear to him: his wife's mother.

His mother-in-law, before the age of 60, was unable to use the bathroom by herself and had forgotten how to speak. He and his wife started Hilarity for Charity to benefit Alzheimer's research, and Rogen was hoping to draw more attention to his cause by attending the hearing. However, if you watch his speech above, there were a lot of empty seats on the senators' side.

Rogen, of course, took exception to this, wrote about it on Twitter, and called Senator Mark Kirk out.

Check out his charity here and share your story if you know someone suffering from the disease.
