Yesterday, officials in New York City announced that Wi-Fi service will be added to every underground station in Queens and expanded to more Midtown stations.

The New York Post reports that Transit Wireless anticipates the process will be completed by June. The move will fully-equip Queens stops, as well as bring 11 more to those in Midtown. Overall, this initiative is expected to give 250 million new riders the option to experience the joys of Wi-Fi while traveling underground each year.

Lastly, the Post notes that by 2017, every subway station in the city will have Wi-Fi.
