With only the X-Men and Fantastic Four licenses left at the studio, 20th Century Fox has to use its imagination when it comes to bringing superheroes to the big screen. In addition to X-Men: Days of Future Past this summer, Fantastic Four in 2015, and X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016, the studio has also solidified its comic lineup until 2018.
According to Deadline, the studio will release Fantastic Four 2 on July 14, 2017 and another Wolverine movie on March 3, 2017. But more intriguing, the site also states that the studio has a yet-untitled Marvel movie in mind for July 13, 2018.
What movie could this be? Well it has to be X-Men or Fantastic Four related, so the options are pretty slim. Could it be a Fantastic Four/X-men team-up? That’s very possible. It’s also possible that Deadpool could finally come to theaters, or perhaps the more violent and grittier X-Force could be adapted.
The possibilities are extremely limited, but there is also more than enough to speculate on. What do you think Fox is planning?
