Apple is looking to expand it's tech empire and they're getting a little help from a friend. The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple is in talks with Comcast to get a TV streaming service off of the ground. Anonymous sources have confirmed with the Wall Street Journal that Apple is receiving "special treatment" from Comcast so Apple wouldn't have to worry about web congestion and would offer "optimal streaming capabilities."

The streaming service would allow Apple TV owners to stream live, on-demand content, and digital recordings through Apple's cloud and replace the standard cable box.

As a part of the deal, Apple would reportedly receive a portion of Comcast subscription revenue.

The deal is reportedly in its beginning stages, but would bring us one step closer to Apple being in control of absolutely everything.
