Chris Evans might not be in the acting game for as long as everyone thought. In a profile by Variety, the Captain America star shared where his true passion lies, and whether or not he plans to continue acting after his Marvel contract is up:

None

Evans spent the winter making his directorial debut, 1:30 Train. It's a love story about a young woman played by Alice Eve who misses the 1:30 train at Grand Central Terminal, then spends the night talking to a street musician, who is played by Evans. The movie was shot in just 19 days this past December, though no release date has been set just yet.

He also told Variety that if hes acting in anything from now on, it will be a Marvel movie he's contractually obligated to do.

Though Evans is burned out on acting, he appreciates the doors its opened.

“Without these movies, I wouldn’t be directing,” he said. “They gave me enough overseas recognition to greenlight a movie. And if I’m speaking extremely candidly, it’s going to continue to do that for as long as the Marvel contract runs.”
