Nearly half a million people from all around the planet gathered in Dublin today to witness Ireland's largest St. Patrick's Day parade. Nearly 3,000 performers united in the capital under the theme "Let’s Make History," including eight U.S. marching bands, "Dead Zoo" themed performers, and many other exciting, often offbeat acts.

Considering that Dublin is one of only three countries in the world that celebrate St. Patrick's Day as a public holiday (the other two being Newfoundland and Labrador and Caribbean Island Montserrat), Dublin's iteration of the parade was an unforgettably vibrant celebration that welcomed revelers from every reach of the globe. Complex City Guide was on the scene (literally, we were in the parade's media float as it traveled through the city) to capture some of the afternoon's liveliest moments. Slainté!
