The ridiculous Goat Simulator video that resulted in the internet demanding a full game from developer Coffee Stain Studios, now has a release date. Gamers can look forward to tossing a goat, jumping off stuff, using your tongue to chase people and other rag-doll related mechanics on the appropriately set release date: April 1.

"Goat Simulator was inspired from old-school skating games, where, instead of being a skater, you're a goat, and instead of doing skating tricks, you wreck stuff," developer Coffee Stain Studios said. "Charging into a table and knocking it over yields points, and if you can manage to do it while doing a backflip first and a 360 afterwards, you'll score even more points."

Currently gamers can play Goat Simulator on Steam's Early Access and after it launches gamers will be able to use the services of the Steam Workshop to add their own goats and levels.
