Kim Dotcom wants to save the Internet, so what better way than to strike where it hurts: politics.
The MEGA founder is launching the Internet Party, a political party set on working toward cheaper Internet for New Zealanders. Dotcom is hoping that the party can gain influence before the country's general election in September. Members can download an Internet Party app and pay a membership fee of $.99 for three years. Hey, all he needs is 500 members in order to register with the country's electoral commission.
