A powder that tested positive for ricin was found in Georgetown University student's dorm room this week, school officials say.

According to the Washington Post, the white powder was discovered in the 19-year-old man's room in McCarthy Hall Tuesday, triggering a response from the Joint Terrorism Task Force. A police report states that the suspect "confirmed that he made the substance."

The Post adds that there were no reports of students, faculty or anyone else being exposed to the substance. School officials issued a subsequent email stating that there was no imminent threat. Though no arrests have been made, law enforcement officials noted that the investigation will continue.
