Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment says that if you think the Xbox One hit lacks variety there are more game modes on the way.

While there is no public timeline for these new modes to be rolled out Respawn cofounder Vince Zampella says there are more coming. What is known is that Titanfall has a three waves of scheduled expansion packs, some of which will be included in the game and some for extra cash as well as a private match feature.

At the moment Titanfall has five game modes: Capture the Flag, Hardpoint Domination, Pilot Hunter, Attrition and Last Titan Standing. While the new mech shooter obviously wants to stand out from the crowd, focusing heavily on core gaming and balanced play, other battle-tested games in the military shooter arena have many more modes. Battlefield 4has 11 (with a new mode coming at the end of the month) and Call of Duty: Ghosts has about the same amount but with extras for private and squad matches.

Titanfall is out for the Xbox One and a Xbox 360 version was recently delayed by two weeks, now set to drop the first week in April.
