Police in Florida are searching for the driver who caused an accident that killed one child and injured 14 others at a day care center yesterday.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, 28-year-old Robert Corchado struck another vehicle, forcing it into a KinderCare building in Orlando. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured, but was "visibly shaken and emotional" about having crashed into a building full of children.

Corchado—whose criminal history includes a three-year prison stint for cocaine trafficking, a December arrest for possession of cocaine and heroin and leaving the scene of an accident—fled the scene.

Authorities say the accident killed one child and left another 14 with minor to critical injuries. The hunt for Corchado, who rented an SUV from Orlando International Airport, continues.
