As of last week, Microsoft officially owns Nokia's smartphone lines, and the company that's long been known for its software is now a major hardware maker.
Aside from changing the branding of the phones from Nokia to Microsoft Mobile, the company is also trying to use the smartphones to make themselves seem a little "cool" in the face of Apple and Samsung. Their newest commercial, 'Not Like Everyone Else', seemingly has Microsoft admitting that they know that they're not the smartphone leader (or even in second place,) but if you're looking for a smartphone and don't want to conform, well, hey, they're the smartphone for you.
