So what if someone held a day party, played everything from "Man of the Year" to "Electric Feel" and served grilled cheese sandwiches? You'd go, right?
That's what D.C.'s Rock Creek Social Club figured, hence why they're starting Grilled Cheese Social on May 10. It's their version of a Saturday afternoon day party, meaning an ordinary concept will be inverted, all for your enjoyment.
The debut will take place from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Marvin (2007 14th St. NW) next Saturday, with music by Rock Creek Social's Jerome Baker lll and, of course, an abundance of grilled cheese sandwiches. If you RSVP, you're promised something special, so go ahead and do that.
