In a win for funny women, The Other Woman beat out Captain America: The Winter Soldier at the box office last night, and is looking like it will be a hit. The comedy starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton is estimated to rake in $25 million during its first weekend.
Captain America is in its fourth week, and Heaven is For Real came in third, for reasons we don't entirely understand. Posthumous Paul Walker movie Brick Mansions opened at number five, and Johnny Depp stinker Transcendence slipped to number six.
Does this mean we can have more movies starring awesome actresses? Was Bridesmaids not enough?
