Gmail is no stranger to radical redesigns, and it looks like there could soon be another one on the way.

According to images obtained by Geek.com, Google could be gearing up to introduce an entirely new interface for its email service. The company is reportedly in the process of testing a totally reimagined version of the Gmail web client with a select group of users.Based on the screenshots, it looks like the new version could do away with some of Gmail's clunkier features and replace them with streamlined ones. Hangouts seem to be prioritized and are integrated into the design, while the traditional sidebar navigation could be dropped in favor of a sleeker slide-in panel. Notably, the design seems to hint at the inclusion of an Android-like reminders function.

There's no official word yet on whether Google intends to launch the redesign, but it looks pretty sweet nonetheless.
