Variety is reporting that Microsoft is nearing a deal with Showtime to bring the in-production live-action Halo series to the cable network before it releases on the Xbox.
Previously Xbox Entertainment Studios announced a number of new series, including two Halo productions, would be released exclusively on Microsoft products. According to VarietyXbox Live subscribers would still be able to view the series on Microsoft's networks but sometime after premiering on Showtime.
