With the murders near UCSB that were carried out by Elliot Rodger remaining a national news story throughout the weekend, Rap Genius co-founder Mahbod Moghadam decided to annotate the killer's "memoir" on the site.

The 141-page memoir was posted online, and details Rodger's hatred for women and the men who were able to attract the women he so desired. With interest in the memoir at a peak, Moghadam went through it and added his own interpretations of the work, which ended up being confusing and outright disgusting. He calls certain passages "beautifully written," and takes a guess that Rodger's sister is hot, alluding to an attraction Rodger might have felt for his sibling, and that being reason he was angry when he heard her having sex.) Here are some of the annotations that Gawker was able to grab:

Check out more of his annotations here. Not too long after, he offered this explanation to Valleywag:

None

Sometimes the best annotations are the ones that are thought about and pondered, and not just reactionary ones.
