Fake Politicians are Meeting Real Politicians at Tonight's White House Correspondents' Dinner

HBO

Any White House event is obviously full of politicians, but tonight's annual White House Correspondents' Dinner is the only one full of celebrities, too. All of our favorite TV politicians will be there—apparently it's lost on D.C. that it's the one being skewered on shows like Veep and House of Cards.

Veep's Timothy Simons (he plays Jonah) said he was going to find the biggest nerd in the room. "My goal is going to be to find the biggest nerd at this thing. I feel honestly like I might have already found him," he said. "I don’t want to say who it is."

Other Veep cast members like Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky and Reid Scott will be there as well. Kevin Spacey of House of Cards has sworn he isn't going, but everyone is expecting him too. He is the new president, after all. His cast mates Sebastion Arcelus, Michael Kelly, Constance Zimmer and series creator Beau Willimon are going, though.

From Scandal, it'll be Darby Stanchfield, Bellamy Young and another president, Tony Goldwyn. Olivia Pope Kerry Washington just had her baby two weeks ago, so she's staying home. Joel McHale is hosting, so we're sure there will be enough digs at D.C. without Hollywood's caricatures.
