The advent of next-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are meant to show off their power and precision to detail. As gamers around the world witness the arrival of NBA 2K15, which releases on October 7, we are already anticipating new features, new music, and new experiences. For now, we have an exciting real–life NBA Finals going on, that has captured the magic of yesteryear basketball.

With Kevin Durant posing as the intimidating force for 2K15’s box art, the roll out for the next level in simulation hoops has focused on the authentic emotion contained on (and off) the court. 2K Games has cemented itself as the go-to-game for when it comes to playing the game of roundball. As EA attempts to bring NBA Live 15 out in a head-to-head battle for your dunks and dollars, it seems that the Novato, California company is out to stay no. 1.
