The wait is over.

After a three-month hiatus, Xi'an Famous Foods (81 St. Mark's Place) will reopen in New York City tomorrow.

According to Grub Street, owner Jason Wang may be gearing up for openings on the Upper East Side and Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood, but the East Village location will return in time for the start of a new week. It had been closed since Mar. 17 for renovations, and what was supposed to be a three to four-week break quickly turned into three months due to issues with the Department of Buildings and ConEdison.

Tomorrow, it returns with minor alterations for the better.
