Jimmy Fallon went on a “dad joke” rampage last night on The Tonight Show, aiming for the low-hanging fruit in cracking wise about attending the 2014 FIFAWorld Cup. Among his comments were several jabs at soccer’s lack of popularity in the United States, cracks at the stadium construction issues, and a horrible pun about Ghana.

While Fallon may not be in on soccer, most of the world (yes, including the United States) is incredibly excited for the World Cup, which kicks off in Brazil at 4 PM tomorrow afternoon. The quadrennial tournament is the world’s most-watched sporting event, and even non-soccer fans will undoubtedly embrace the drama and excitement of this year’s tournament.

We will, begrudgingly, grant Fallon this: Jürgen Klinsmanndoes sound a bit like an Ikea dresser.
