You might not have realized it, but Now You See Me was one of 2013’s surprise hits. Though it had a well-known cast, the movie seemed destined to be swarmed by stiff summer competition. However, despite being a rare original concept to debut during the summer blockbuster season, the movie went on to gross more than $350 million at the worldwide box office.

Of course that type of gross means a sequel is inevitable, and now Variety is reporting that Lionsgate is looking at director Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) to take over from Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), who directed the original. Talks are ongoing, but it seems like this deal is going to happen.

The movie is set for a fall production start with the original cast returning, including Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Mark Ruffalo.
