Rumors about Apple's highly anticipated smartwatch have reached a fever pitch. The latest report, which comes via 9to5Mac and should probably be taken with a grain of salt, posits that Kobe Bryant is among a handful of professional athletes who are participating in a testing program for the so-called iWatch. He was recently spotted on campus at Cupertino, where he was rumored to have met with Apple design chief Jony Ive.
According to the site, Kobe and Dustin Brown of the L.A. Kings and an unnamed member of the Boston Red Sox are testing Apple's iWatch in pro training conditions, suggesting that the device will include some sort of fitness feature. That much aligns with a recent Wall Street Journal report, which claimed that the smartwatch will ship with 10 sensors designed to monitor the wearer's vital signs.
