This morning on The Today Show, co-host Natalie Morales went behind the scenes of Pitch Perfect 2, and came out with a few new details from the movie.
The first is more cosmetic, and involves hair. Anna Kendrick and Hailee Steinfeld were both rocking cornrows, and according to Kendrick, “Tears are shed, all in cornrows.”
Director Elizabeth Banks also revealed that the Bellas will have a new main rival, although the identity of their foes shall remain a mystery. Banks says that, “The Bellas have gotten too big for their britches…and they have sort of forgotten about the music a little bit.”
