After adding Marilyn Manson to play a white supremacist about a month ago, Sons of Anarchy has pulled in another rock icon (to use the term loosely) for their final season: Courtney Love.
She’ll first be appearing in the fourth episode of the season, and will be playing Jax’s son Abel’s preschool teacher. It appears Love will be clashing with Drea de Matteo, who will not appreciate the interest Love is taking in Abel.
Love actually has some serious acting chops, having earned a Golden Globe nomination in 1996 for her role in The People vs. Larry Flynt. As crazy as it sounds, this actually has potential to work out well for all parties involved.
The new season is currently in production, and is scheduled to premiere in September. Here’s the debut teaser:
