Jason Bateman's character in The Longest Week, Conrad Valmont, has his life flipped upside down during the span of one week.
After Valmont, a rich 40-year-old wannabe novelist gets cut off by his parents, he’s forced to move in with his best friend, Dylan, played by Billy Crudup.
Things take a turn for the awkward when Dylan introduces his girlfriend Beatrice, played by Olivia Wilde, only to find out Conrad and her have met before.
Despite Dylan’s repeated pleas of “Don’t try anything”—and his own promise that he wouldn't—Conrad pursues Beatrice. The rest of the trailer sees Conrad and Beatrice’s thriving romance as Conrad's friendship with Dylan withers.
