Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series has long been regarded as one of the few credible threats to EA's FIFA franchise. Their next title, PES 2015, will be released in late 2014 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and other, undisclosed platforms. However, the first screenshots for the game are now available, and they look mighty impressive.
Built specifically for next-gen consoles, PES 2015 features slick graphics and the stunning detail necessary for Konami to overtake EA in the virtual sports realm. Other features of the game were announced along with Konami's unveiling of the screenshots. You can expect weekly updates to your rosters and players, fully customizable stadium environments, and the ability to buy certain players for your team via micro-transactions.
