Who says three proudly Jewish actors can’t make a Christmas movie?
Lizzy Caplan, Seth Rogen, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be starring together in an as-yet-unnamed Christmas Eve movie, which will be directed by Rogen and Gordon-Levitt's 50/50 collaborator Jonathan Levine. Details are pretty hazy at this point, but the basic skeleton of the story is that three childhood friends reunite around the holidays.
Caplan will be Gordon-Levitt’s love interest, and Anthony Mackie will also be appearing. Will he be playing a quirky Jewish person? It wouldn’t seem likely, but you never know.
Best guess here is that this movie will be a humorous look at just what Jewish people do on Christmas. Speaking from firsthand experience, this typically entails Chinese food, movies, and bowling. Will there be a sing-a-long with this South Park classic? One can only hope:
