After the August 11 suicide of comedy legend Robin Williams, the emotional outpouring of support for the Williams family and the crushing loss felt by all was immediate and universal. Heartfelt tributes were shared by both fans and celebrities as the world mourned the passing of one of the most influential comedians of the last 30 years.
Robin Williams, and his daughter Zelda, were both massive gamers and were particularly huge fans of World of Warcraft. Blizzard announced that Williams would be immortalized in WoW as a character in the game and now we've got our first look at the model. Wowhead.com, a World of Warcraft database site, found a character model for a character called Robin set to be included in the WOW expansion, Warlords of Draenor. The model is an obvious nod to Williams' character Genie in Disney's Aladdin and if you follow the link you can see the Genie in action attacking, blocking, and generally gesticulating for its appearance in-game.
