Rick Grimes stopped fucking around at the end of the last season of The Walking Dead. He left behind the short-lived life of a pacifist farmer to take a literal bite out of those who threatened him and his son. As he said in the season finale, the Terminus crew is "screwing with the wrong people."

According to Andrew Lincoln, who plays Grimes, that no-holds-barred Rick will be here to stay in season five. He told Entertainment Weekly:

"Because their leader is incredibly uncompromising, I think he is dragging a lot of those people into a place that is darker, more brutal, and there will be a fallout from that. So it feels like it's a more grown-up show. It feels like we're heading to the heart of darkness. Brutal is the word for this season. It's always been pretty intense, but this season I think is very hard hitting. People should be prepared for that."

Who's going to be suffer from that brutality remains to be seen. By the looks of the trailer, the people of Terminus may be spared by a truce. But at this point the only people who should truly feel safe are the members of his makeshift family.
