This is the reason I don't get those "Messin' with Sasquatch" beef jerky commercials. People punk Sasquatch by, like, pulling a chair out from under him and then he (rightfully) gets super angry and slaps them into next Sunday with a tree stump. And it's supposed to be funny. That's not funny—that's horrific.
Just ask Matt (Samuel Davis) in Exists, the latest movie from The Blair Witch Project director Eduardo Sanchez. Exists is all about how Bigfoot, well, exists—and it's not a good thing at all. Matt and his GoPro-wearing friends go adventure-seeking in the Texas woods only to find that Bigfoot's lurking and they're the prey.
Scariness ensues, like when Matt tries to BMX his way out of Bigfoot's grasp. But it's a lot easier said than done.
Exists is out on VOD and in theaters on October 24. Hopefully from now on you'll see the dangers of feeding sasquatches beef jerky.
