Ted 2 is currently filming in Boston, but plot details have been hard to come by. Today we got the most revealing news yet, as Morgan Freeman has been confirmed to play an iconic civil rights lawyer who helps Ted with some legal issues.
Seth MacFarlane reportedly wanted a high-profile star in a goofy role from the start, and this casting shows he found exactly what he was looking for. Amanda Seyfried was also added to the cast that returns Mark Wahlberg. MacFarlane is expected to include numerous A-list cameos and, of course, his signature pop culture references.
But it is it even possible for MacFarlane to top Flash Gordon himself, Sam Jones? Ted wouldn't think so.
