Cop Tasers Man as he Prays Over Wounded Stepson in ER

Video shows a police officer tasering a man as he grieved over his fatally wounded stepson in a hospital emergency room.

A Pittsburg man has filed a federal lawsuit against police, claiming that officers dragged him away from the body of his dead stepson and shot him with a Taser inside a hospital emergency room.

Rev. Earl Baldwin Jr., a community activist against street violence according to Pittsburg's WPXI, says his stepson, Mileek Grissom, had already died from gunshot wounds and that he was trying to pray over him when the police pulled him off. 


"I needed to tell him his family was going to be OK.  I was going to do everything I could to make sure they were OK,” Baldwin said.

The hospital says that Baldwin in the way, and was actually interfering with with attempts to treat and revive his stepson.
