The tongue-in-cheek sequel montage in 22 Jump Street was hilarious, but it also wasn't that farfetched. Just months after the sequel opened up with nearly $60 million, Sony is already putting things in motion for a third movie. 22 Jump Street co-writer Rodney Rothman has been pegged to write 23 Jump Street (or whatever it ends being titled), and Phil Lord and Chris Miller will return as producers—although there's the possibility they come back to direct, too.

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are also rumored to return, and we can't imagine Sony would be going forward without them.

Plot details have yet to be released because, you know, there isn't a plot yet. We'll see if Rothman will be held to the medical school setting teased in the montage.
