And so, we have the first casualty of the fall TV season. ABC’s Manhattan Love Story has earned the dubious distinction of being the first show to be canceled, after the network dropped the ax late last night.
The show stumbled out of the gate and only got worse from there, falling from a meager 4.7 million viewers its first episode to 2.6 million this past week. Moving its timeslot around didn’t help either, which was basically the final blow.
Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that nobody knew the show existed?
But don’t worry, ABC will be replacing it with more Selfie. Yippee.
