Chris Kyle is on record as the deadliest sniper in American history, but in the first trailer for American Sniper we see that each kill wasn't easy. Bradley Cooper stars as Kyle in the adaptation of the book American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, and in this teaser we see him forced to make a judgment call on the battlefield. Cooper's character is the only one who can see a child carrying a grenade, so it's up to him to decide if he should shoot. As he agonizes over the decision, clips cut in and out of him and his wife and child.
Will he take the shot? It looks like we'll have to wait and see until the Clint Eastwood directed film comes out Jan. 16.
