This week, 17-year-old Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai became the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. She is known for her fight for the right of girls and women to go to school, something the Taliban outlawed in her community. They eventually shot her for her defiance in 2012, and since she survived, she has become an international icon. She's also only the second Pakistani to win a Nobel Prize; the last one was in 1979.

Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain tweeted her support for and admiration of Yousafzai today—Chastain herself does charity work for women's rights. The Malala Fund she tags is the nonprofit run by Yousafzai that helps girls go to school; you can donate here.
