"You will give me my own movies." That's what Ewan McGregor, using Jedi mind tricks, must have told LucasFilm, as rumors suggest Obi-Wan Kenobi will be getting a stand-alone movie series. We already knew George Lucas and Co. would be making Star Wars movies separate from the saga, but no central characters have been confirmed.

Originally (as in, like, a couple weeks ago) the rumor was that Obi-Wan would be the star of one of the stand-alone movies, but Cinelinx is suggesting three separate films (i.e. not another trilogy) set between Episode III and IV are in play. It's important to note, though, that even Cinelinx itself admits its own source could be misinformed.

That said, this is an incredibly exciting rumor. Obi-Wan was recently voted by fans as the best Star Wars character of all-time, so you know everyone would eat up a single film, let alone three, centered upon the Jedi master. And McGregor has admitted he'd love a chance to come back as Obi-Wan.

The order of Star Wars characters who deserve their own film(s) has to go something like this:

1. Obi-Wan

2. Yoda

3. Han Solo

4. Boba Fett

5. Everyone else

6. Jar Jar Binks.

Feel free to give your own hierarchy in the comments if you can play nice.

1.

2.
