Taylor Kitsch (sort of) addressed his possible role on Season 2 of "True Detective."

We already know that Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell will be playing the male leads in Season 2 of True Detective, but the other two main roles have yet to be officially cast. Rumors abound about who will be involved, although much of the speculation has centered on Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch.

Access Hollywood had a chance to talk to Kitsch last night at the GQ Gentleman’s Ball, and naturally asked the question on everybody’s mind: what’s the deal with you and True Detective?

“’Rumored right now, yeah,’ Taylor said. When our producer suggested it would be nice to see the actor on the HBO show, he had an interesting response. ‘It would be nice, wouldn’t it? Yeah. So we’ll know in a couple days,’ he said.

Asked if he really meant, yes, Taylor noted he couldn’t ‘really say anything about it.’ But he did admit to being a fan of the first season. ‘I’m a mad fan for it. Nic Pizzolatto, the whole — everything, so I think it’s — I’m excited for Season 2 — if I’m in it or not,’ he said.”

Come on, Taylor. Why can’t you just tell us now? He totally knows either way and is just trying to play it cool.

Damn you, Riggins.
