The Good Lie isn't the Reese Witherspoon-starrer you expect it to be. Directed by Philippe Falardeau, the film, which tells the harrowing story of four young Sudanese refugees adjusting to life in the U.S., a haven from the war, poverty, and enslavement in their homeland, is all about the Lost Boys of Sudan. And here, they're played impressively by Arnold Oceng, Emmanuel Jal, Kuoth Wiel, and Ger Duany (a former child soldier during the Second Sudanese Civil War). Witherspoon just happens to play the brazen American woman who helps the boys settle in.

We got a chance to sit down with the cast and crew, which includes actors Sarah Baker and Corey Stoll and writer Margaret Nagle, to discuss the message of the movie (in limited release now) and how the film honors the true story of the Lost Boys.
