Did you know that there’s a group of actresses in LA (most notably Aubrey Plaza) who play in a rec basketball league, calling themselves the Pistol Shrimps? Probably not. That would be weird.
Profiled in GQ about six weeks ago, the Shrimps have now made the leap to the mainstream thanks to this “old” ad they did for Burger King in “1996.” Interestingly, a look at the Shrimps’ Instagram would suggest that this commercial was shot a couple weeks ago, but just suspend your disbelief.
