When will these kids ever learn?

OK, maybe it’s not fair to blame the victim here. But for four years in a row, Jimmy Kimmel has invited parents to send in videos of them telling their kids that the parents ate all of their Halloween candy, and for four straight years the kids have fallen for it.

Hilarious tantrums ensue, although a few very well-mannered children are very quick to forgive.

One might argue that because they don’t watch Jimmy Kimmel Live and are simply trusting children, the kids are justified in being really upset. How could they see this coming?

You know why they should? Because life is hard. They should need to know this, and should have realized it already. If the parents really want to do this right, they actually should eat all their candy to teach their kids a valuable lesson.
