A man in Scotland suffered a vicious beating at the hands of at least one man who asked him for his pizza just before attacking him.

According to the New York Post, 29-year-old Mark Sinclair told authorities that he stopped to grab some pizza after departing a pub in Stenhousemuir, Scotland on Wednesday night. He told the Daily Record that when he was nearly home, an aggressor appeared and said "Gimme a bit of your pizza" before pouncing on him.

Sinclair, who was repeatedly kicked in the face and neck, told the Record that there was only one assailant he was aware of, but noted that there could have been more, as he was "a bit groggy."

Aside from the bruising, Sinclair sustained nerve damage to his right eye and suffered torn ligaments in one of his knees. He was urged by a friend to shared a photo of his injuries on Facebook in an attempt to find witnesses and solve the crime.

The Post adds that local police are currently searching for two suspects.
