For the second week in a row, the top movie in the country was about a scary board game, because happy Halloween, I guess.

This week, though, Ouija tied with Nightcrawler for that No. 1 spot as both films brought in about $10.9 million (that's going by studio estimates, which will probably end up showing a clearer winner when the exact numbers come in later this week).

Ouija is already a big hit, following that recent trend of lower budget horror movies that make a ton of dough and get sequel after sequel (no sequel announced for Ouija yet, but just wait and you'll see). It only cost an estimated $5 million to make.

Nightcrawler is already profitable too, since it only cost a reported $8.5 million to make. It's also earning Jake Gyllenhaal some of the best reviews of his career in his role as a creepy dude who gets caught up in a shady world of Los Angeles TV journalism filming graphic crime scenes and selling the footage.

The rest of the top 10 was all movies that have been out for more than a week already. Fury was No. 3 with $9.1 million, and Gone Girl was No. 4 with $8.8 million. Bill Murray's St. Vincent was No. 7 with $7.8 million.
