It appears The Interview crusade is far from over. North Korean defector Park Sang-hak is working together with the U.S.-based Human Rights Foundation to air drop 100,000 DVD and USB copies of The Interview into North Korea next week with the hope of changing how the country’s residents feel about their supreme leader Kim Jong-un.

Speaking the Associated Press, Park said that “North Korea’s absolute leadership will crumble if the idolization of leader Kim breaks down.”

There’s a problem with this strategy, though. If the accounts of oppression and poverty in North Korea are true, how many people in the country even have a DVD player or computer that could play the movie? It seems pretty unlikely that 100,000 DVDs is going to be enough to destabilize the government.

Undeterred, Park will be traveling to South Korea in a couple weeks to hand over the copies of the film to South Korean officials. From there, they’ll start floating the balloons across the border and keep their fingers crossed that “Operation Interview Drop” will spark a revolution.
